Quick update on my turbo...

Post by Mikejc »

Just a quick update for those that were wondereing about the new turbo install.

The quick version goes like this.......it's still not finished!!!

The long version, (which I can't be ar$ed to explain in any great detail  )....Basically, i missed the tuning session booked in at Thor for the Sat just gone by due to the turbo not being finished in time. So I booked it in for this Wed 16th in the hope that all would be ready. I had to call Thor today and let them once again know that I would'nt be able to make yet another appointment to have the car tuned because the car was still unready!

However, a small amount of light still dwindles at the end of the tunnel. I had a chat with Thor today and they have said that they will try and squeeze me in before the weekend arrives so that I can be ready for the night drag event at Santa Pod :) Know I just have to hope that Westfeild can finish the job by tomorrow late afternoon. This should'nt be too much of a problem as they told me on Monday that they only had one more days work left before completing the car. But then again that was two days ago so I wont hold my breath

Fingers crossed for me chaps :?

Thor are mapping it Chris, aledgedly Westfeilds are just fitting it but it's still yet to be completed  I'm told by Ian that it should be ready tomorrow, although I wont hold my breath :? It's proved to be a real big job after all which Fensport played down from the begining, telling me that it was straight forward and ivloved around 10 hours fitting time. Over 4 weeks later and i'm still awaiting the cars return!

If I do infact get it back tomorrow and all is well, i'll be able to make it along to the tuning session booked up at Thor for this coming Friday. If all go's well there i'll be at the Pod on Sat kicking Mark's ar$e up the strip!

They [Westfield] are very good, but with bigger jobs they do tend to drag their heels!
