Thats pretty unusual. I'm learning German at the moment - and it is a NIGHTMARE. As with any language, understanding the grammar is key, but once you've got that sussed, your there. Gotta get my tall, blonde German bride

My wife is fluent in German and 5 other languages, so you can tell shes intelligent especially cos she picked me!

Germans cool, real easy to pick up! you should be setting up a trip to the Nurnburg ring for a few lessions

Yeah, I know German's supposed to be easy to learn for a foreign language, but I find languages tricky, so its a case of perservering. I've been out with a couple of German ladies, and been to Stuttgart and Munich several times and loved it - No violence, no litter, and they speak thier mind which I like, and don't pay any attention to this silly lower/middle/upper class nonsense like this country. Unfortunatley that link does'nt work...

sorry chap its not a link its a underlinning to impose the point about recieving a lession, as it could be said for driving at the Nurnburg ring and for the language.
I think its a pont well raised about classes, as ive noticed poeple on imoc and in general online dont give a $hit about classes, but the moment you meeet a complete stranger face to face the class rule applies, us brits are a funny breed!
Personally i dont give tosh, for me its all about personality, doesnt mean i like everyone, buy the same token it doesnt matter where your from, (as long as your not north of Watford) (joke) :D
I think in many places we and the germans alike are called stuck up/highly strung though, the way i see it the Germans are more perfectionist, and we are just a bit pompass mostly.
Good luck with the German! language and the ladies!
:D

Hi!

I live in the north of sweden. I dont know the exact distance between Karlskrona and Luleå (were i live). But i know that its over 1000km.

I drove my two home from Gothenburg were the ferry from Newcastle arrives. That tripp was 1260km. I drove for like 14 hours i a row. Drank about a case of red bull. :)

i questioned that ferry price before.. was about 125 for a car plus the room cost on top!.. and with that, you didnt get a lock on the door and no toilet on the ferry!, i questioned taking the mk1 over there, i must do it one day tho, hopefully next year, the roads there are worth taking the trip for alone, let alone all the blondes, and dont lie about the blondes, ive seen them and erm,...
there are lots, i can confirm, altho of all the blondes my bro married a dark haired girl! i had the luck of meeting her friend on the wedding day!.. she was a real blonde
