Looking forward to seeing your car Jay. One hell of a list of mods you got there. =D> Gives me some inspiration for the future but nobody discuss that in front of Eileen.

As already indicated by Tony; 11:30am Coach & Horses, Croxdale, Co Durham.

Seems central to everyone.

Grab a quick bite to eat and a drink and then steady drive over to scarborough with the intention of being there are 3 - 3:30ish, head for the Car Park nr the Harbour and all hopefully get in.

Scoot along the sea front for some bracing fresh air, Fish n Chips followed by Waffles and Ice Cream :-)

and then hoooommmmmeeeeeee.

Croxdale, sounds good to me. 11:30 gives me plenty time to clean the car up, pickup the bb-sitter etc. Roof off if its not raining.

Cya there.

Heh, 18 year old niece. I cannot even think about it but you welcome :)

Unfortunately I'll be dropping of the bb-sitter at our house and bringing the missus along for the ride.

18 year old. Too young for me, and besides, I'm a one woman man. (Seen my avatar. Took me ages to get Eileen to pose for that). Looking forward to meeting up again mate.

What a beautiful day for driving around with the t-bars out, wasnt it Graham n Gayle. Sun shining, music blasting the odd spirited acceleration then just easing off to a nice cruise. Taking your time driving through the villages and towns, then the blue lights start flashing.

Yep, a young copper in his police van decides to pull us over. Five Mr2's on the soft verge of the A171 leaving Whitby. I was thinking "Did I have my Van Halen - Eruption notched up too high as we came through Whitby. Oh xxxx my insurance. Here comes some points on my clean licence".

Of course not. He wanted to discuss cars as he was wanting to buy an Mr2. Well, after telling us to make sure we took it careful on these roads as the bikers were out in force and he did not fancy seeing one of our cars mangled we were off on the rest of our journey.

Had another great day. Good company (Graeme, Gayle, Jay, Raechel, Steve, Ann and David), great food, great weather and must not forget to mention great cars.

Think we were all of the opinion though that next time (near the end of this season possibly), we drive down to Scarborough for lunch. Great Italian restaurant on the seafront that we stopped at for refreshments (the Pizzas looked tremendous). Not enough time to do the more adventurous things that Turbo_dude wanted to do though. Like see me puking over the side of a speed boat. Maybe next time Steve.

Thanks for making it a very enjoyable day people.

Yeah totally enjoyed myself too,

Lovely driving over those moors on a sunny day with the roof off. Gonna see what I can do about Keilder now, I didn't realise it was that close :D

PS Andy, I'm popping over Pauls on Tuesday night to drop that thing off (just incase you read this).

Lol, i dunno what was going on with that copper. Didnt ask for producers or anything, just pulled us over for a chat ? And caused a chaotic road juntion as we all did 5 point turns to get out that junction again. Wierd.

Roof off was great, first time this year. Didnt loose a spot of oil in 150 miles or any wierd turbo issues (Tony u said you had a leak ?) with all that boosting so engines looking solid indeed finally.

Heard a funny noise like a bolt coming off on that "turn" ( hehe Tony, u dissapeared from my mirror!, bit of downforce missing mabey ? :) ) from the A66 to to A19, but nothing seems wrong, hoping it was bit of road debri getting mixxed up in the drive shafts, but gonna have a good look around the major chassis mounting points while I check out that bearing noise (cheers David, still think its the alternator, but hoping its not).

Anyway good run, cruisy with a few accelerations (especially fun passing that 20mph Cavalier), and the sound of 5 tubbies with 3-5'' pipes rumbling through little town centers was awesome.

Cant wait for the next outing (Keilder). Need to fill my missus up on Morphene or something for that one !

Thats kinda what i been waiting for, for it to be there all the time, then its easy to find/fix. Hard to be under the car when its moving at 60mph. Deffo gonna spend an afternoon on that driveshaft bearing though, sure when i fitted the new one, I thought wtf is that screw for and it didnt put it back in again, could be the answer, hope its that simple !

Thing was I thought, if i put that screw back in, and tighten it up it will compress the outer bearing shell onto the ball bearings which is surely a bad thing ! Is there a torque setting or something for it, to not damage the inners of the bearing ?

I'm sure its missing, gonna check first thing tomorrow.

if the bolt aint it the bearind race spins aswll as the bearings making a noise, the bearing race is a hell of allot stronger than u think mate. it wond crush it donw rowwy it will crack before it bends. its the way there made ;)
