Introducing me and my car at the IMOC forum

Post by Greddyfreddy »

Hi!

My name is Freddy and i come from Sweden. I imported my Two last year through Japanese Direct Imports in the UK. I am very pleased with my car, it exceeded all my expectations. I can highly recomend Japanese Direct Imports and its captain Julian Alison if your thinking about getting a Mr2. Or any other japanese car.

Here is some pics of my car:

Thank you.

There are many 1991 - 1993 GTi´s here. They have flooded the country over the last years/year. Its much fewer Turbos and there arent many turbos with the 245BHP engine. I dont know if im the only one with an JDM spec turbo over here but im pretty sure they are VERY rare. I personally only know about one more car like mine and it belonged to a friend that also imported his car through Japanese Direct Imports. But his car is history now since its crashed. :( There are offcourse many USA spec turbos or GTi´s that has been converted to the 245BHP engine.

We are very enthusiastic about over Mr2´s over here. We/me love to tune and style our cars.

Ey up fella.

Nice motor and some good mods there. Whats the modding scene like in Sweden. Many tuning shops/garages about?

What sort of prices are you looking at too?

:D

LUrrrvely car 8)

can i ask a question about the Greddy sideskirts... does the Greddy incude the air intake bit ?.. or is it just a skirt running along the bottom ?

IMHO I think those are the best sideskirts I've seen on a "two" - first fell in love with them when I saw them on Ryan's car on the "kent coast run" last year.

only problem he says he had with them is the paint has a habbit of being chipped off on the bottom cutout/air intake (not the original large one).

small price to pay i still feel for such a nice skirt... always like a bit of skirt

Thanks. The modding scene is big in Sweden. There are lots of tuning garages and a few has the Mr2 on the menu. But i think people over here are more into doing the mods themselves. The Mr2 Turbo is alot more spread out in the UK cause of the Right hand driving.

The prices we have here is similiar to yours. But stuff to the Mr2 is hard to come by. Thats why im ordering most of my stuff from the states.

The Greddy skirts include the air intake yes. In my oppinion these are the best looking skirts to. :)

The paint does get chipped of at the bottom "air intake". But its hard for the eye to see. You can just fill the chips with a little paint and your good.

I love skirts.
