Driving straight!

Post by Driftlimits Performance »

OK, most of you will know I made a slight boo boo and spun the car late last year. It's given me grief! and Bryan lots of grief. BUT, I can be pleased to say, thanks to him and John Rees, its fixed!

why it was bent was a complete mystery, and my local garage said wheel bearing.

Bry then found a bent lower ball joint. So replaced that, still wonky. Then replaced the tie rod, still wonky. Found out the bolt that held the lower arm to chassis was 'S' shaped! So we replaced the hub and lower arm, and the bolt and all's good! John sorted the the tracking, so now I'm sporting straight wheels and 1degree of toe in, which feels really nice.

So basically thanks to Bry and John, and the club as a whole.

New wheels hopefully will be on at the end of the week, and I'll stick up pics.

Would love to, but I've a long booked shopping trip Saturday (well I am a girl!) I *might* be able to make a trip Sunday, not sure yet.

I second that, although it was much quicker to set the tracking, you got the short end there Bry.

Your more than welcome Luke,
