MK1 Club, Monthly Meet *pub & castle run*

Now summer is upon us *cough*rain*cough*, the monthly meet has moved to the last wendesday of every month to allow for the busy show schedule over the summer, and free up any spare weekends.

The next monthly meet is:

Wed 26th April, 7pm,

Usual Place: The Charnwood Arms, Beveridge Lane (just off A50), Bardon Hill, Nr Coalville, Leicestershire

We will meet there and then go for a 'fun' drive round the back roads to the 'Castle Hotel' Pub, Kirby Muxloe. Stop there for a drink or two, and then make our own way home there-after.

Might be able to make it yet if the diary doesnt change by next week and i can get home in time wednesday. My exhaust is gonna take 2 weeks now though because i got to wait for the next production run

This is going to be the start of new monthly meets for the MK1 midlands group:

Monthly Mystery Tours

where each month a diffrerent regular member will plan a new mystery route to a different location.

Cool - this monthly 'Mystery Tour' was a success I thought.
We had 9 MK1's turn up, including a new chap i 'found' at the castle pub - who is the new chef there IIRC.

We are going to be doing more 'mystery Tour' runs like this each month, and they are great fun - mostly sticking to little back roads etc.
