water in boot!

I have found what equates to a fair amount of water in the boot. It is only wet in the flat recessed section in the centre the raised sides to the arches are dry, there is no sign if it running down the sides of the boot and no sign of it coming from the boot lid above, it is almost like it is coming from underneath but I can't locate any where that might be letting the water in, has anyone else had this problem any ideas

I've got exactly the same problem. My boot condensates immensely. When I lift the boot up the underside of my boot is dripping in condensation. I periodically take the material out and dry it on the washing line. I've tryed everything but there is nothing I can do about it.

A typlical place for water to get in is through the wheel arches.

Incidently any bottles of water or whatever will create condensation when heated by the exhaust below - as I found with my packed lunch for work

ur profile gives nothing away of what revision u have. if u have a rev1 or 2, then u will have a 3 piece spoiler. now, there are loads of screws that hold the spoiler in place, and there can be where the water can leak in.

i had to seal each hole with kitchen sealant, as the seal on some of the screws had perished, and the problem has gone.

Try dusting the seals/boot with talc and run the hose over it, may help you find the leak. If you boot is sitting too high when locked, adjust the rubber grommets at the boot edges, they screw in and out of the bootlid to adjust the closed position.
