Mac,

Thats brilliant - you are definately the ROUTE MASTER.........

Looking forward to it, looks like another excellent turn out too.

Are we looking to book a pub for lunch - trying to remember the one we used on the last Keilder Run.

If you can start the run from Washington Services Northbound for all the people in the North East and the people who are traveling to the North East either on the morning of the run or the day before.

Thanks Mac

Michael

Regarding food, anywhere in the area that BBQ's are allowed? Obviously not in the forest area itself.

Lol, I'm sure I was called much worse than that. Was the worst career move I ever made, leaving was the best !

Anyway, will be up for an overnight stay out somewhere on the Saturday night. Was hoping would be a bit more exotic that the Travel Lodge at Washington though ! Honest Lawyer and Lumley Castle look good.

If you looking for a wing, I'd recommend shopping abroad.

I got mine from www.gtn-tuning.de (German company). It cost me the same in Euros as UK places were selling in pounds. Saved hundreds of pounds, and delivery was free !

Edit - Looks like their web has gone, (replaced with some auction site).

Can some kind person paste my name on the list!! Durrrrr. Is it cos I'm blonde, not sure how to do it!! Anyway, I shall be there and have hopefully presuaded my fella to come, but he says he is doing it, in his "grown up" MR2!! That's an XJS 5.3 litre, so if I breakdown, he can stick me and the car in the boot of the Jag!! Look forward to seeing you all there!!

Hi all, I,m doing a recce Easter weekend. We are taking the caravan up there for a few days, so I will have more info next week. Stu Wilson has sent me details of a potential stop-over/lunch venue in Bellingham. I will check it out and report after the Easter break.

Just done the ''recce'' yesterday with Mac. Wow we are all in for a treat, some great twisty, fast roads. We had a look at the forest drive but its too gravelly..!!

Latest information is the run will start from Washington Services cap park NORTHBOUND on the A1M at 10.00am. The best place to stay will be the Church Mouse Innkeepers Lodge about 3 miles from the start point. www.innkeeperslodge.co.uk and you can book online. The rates are £49.50 for a double room and it includes breakfast, good value. If we get a few people staying then I'll organise a night out in the local night spot, Chester le Street or we can go into Durham City which is about 6 miles up the road. I'll need to know soon though so I can organise something for the night.

Keep adding your names, its going to be another cracker..!!!

Cheers
Michael
