Was hoping would be a bit more exotic that the Travel Lodge at Washington though ! Honest Lawyer and Lumley Castle look good. (German company). It cost me the same in Euros as UK places were selling in pounds. Saved hundreds of pounds, and delivery was free !- Looks like their web has gone, (replaced with some auction site). Is it cos I'm blonde, not sure how to do it!! Anyway, I shall be there and have hopefully presuaded my fella to come, but he says he is doing it, in his "grown up" MR2!! MK1 Auto (WHITE) & Gayle MK2 TURBO (BLACK)''recce'' yesterday with Mac. Wow we are all in for a treat, some great twisty, fast roads. We had a look at the forest drive but its too gravelly..!! The best place to stay will be the Church Mouse Innkeepers Lodge about 3 miles from the start point. www.innkeeperslodge.co.uk and you can book online. The rates are £49.50 for a double room and it includes breakfast, good value. If we get a few people staying then I'll organise a night out in the local night spot, Chester le Street or we can go into Durham City which is about 6 miles up the road. I'll need to know soon though so I can organise something for the night..!!!
