LOL, this thread is soo predictable, but I love it all the same.
I'm off out in a bit, to do 200mph on the M69 in my Gayy-ardo

a bit off topic, but I had a guy last night telling me 'there is no substitute for cc's (he owns a 2.7 V6 Hundai(?) Coupe) Not wanting to pi$$ on his bonfire I let him think that until he asked me how much my humble 2.0 litre 4 banger was putting out [-X

All my American car driving friends say the same, there ent no replacement for displacement. Then again they all drive around in underperforming V8 tank engined tanks. When will the Americans learn bigger isn't always better (not meaning to tread on anyone’s toes).[/quote]

I dont know what the big deal is about displacement, of course more is better, thats how an engine works, but, if you have 2 litres, thats what you work with, if you have 8, work with that! Either way, plenty of variety for all!

I've always found american cars to be very strange. In the music video's they are very proud of them and their size... Vanilla Ice "Riding around in my 5 point 0" etc etc. but it always seems that they are underpowered. Granted they are still extremely powerfull but i don't see 300bhp out of a 5 litre lunk is necessarily something to shout about.

BHP/Litre is the thing to shout about nowadays. Mitsu have managed 200/litre with the FQ400 which i think is a new benchmark. Granted the turbo sucks in small children and takes 4000 revs just to move the car but for a factory car thats just insane. How far can you take these cars while still keeping them as a 2litre? I've seen 700-1000bhp ones but they have all been opened up to 2.2 (which aint exactly making it that much bigger anyway)

LOL how fast was THAT picked up!

I liked the song when it first came out lol. Also he had the theme tune to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 when it came out which at the time given my age was well cool. Another thing was the really really dodgy movie he brought out (have it on tape somewhere) and he does a bit of singing and dancing in it.

I now have an updated dance version on my IPod which i listen to for a laugh every now and again. Like my weird al too and his "Rice Rice Baby" always helps me to remember the lyrics as i know them off by heart.

The honest answer of course is that i really liked the car he had and i remember it from the music video. Think it was a ford, maybe a mustang, and it was blue with "5.0" on the left wing :D

Correct....... otherwise the lyric "rollin' in my 5.0 with the ragtop down so my hair can blow" would have been a little out of place!

Does the SLK500 not come in a "Ragtop"? The reason i didn't think it was the merc was coz i didn't think it was made then lol

180 mph on a bike....is that all???!!!!

You need to either a) Try harder or
b) Buy a new bike!!

The speedo is in MPH not KMH!

Notice that its at 220 at 10k revs, the speedo doesn't seem to go any further lol. Must have been around 230+ but subtract the error margin and it may just be 220.

Thought those bikes only did 190 something?
