Somewhere around Potters Bar heading anti clockwise. I (also in yellow tubby) was travelling clockwise. Tried waving but no response!!!

Not sure about special features on your car. The trouble with MR2s on motorways is that the crash barrier tends to block out much of whats on the other side.
Its a shame that us owners don't have the tendency to flash each other like motor bikers do
