Craig,

Why don't you sell the Departure on when you get it and do the same as Steve.......... get a custom made stainless steel copy! Saw someone on here (may have even been Steve?) who was getting it for £300!!

:?:

Do you really wanna have to paint it all the time?? No offence to those who do - that's dedication!!

:D

stop being such a pussy Craig!

The dep2 will be fine, gaurantee. It won't rust away in the time you have it. 8)

Let all these other people get imitations, you won't be disappointed with it mate. Its quality kit.

Take a look at Bryan Stones dep2. Looks BRAND new, no heat resistant paint on it, and if you'd need it, he would have done it.

So basically it's over priced mild steel crap :) *puts on flame proof suit* They do look the part but for the money you really think they'd have made them all stainless steel IMO

hayward and scott do an off the shelf Y shape departure style exhaust, 100% stainless bound to be far superior to the real thing as well as cheaper, they offer me one today when i booked the car in for a NUR-SPEC R copy, but with silencing to get it down to an absolute max of 96db with decat.

ive seen the hayward and scott and they dont look superior to me + when i asked for a quote it came in at over £550 and that was a couple of years ago.

companies like blitz and pheonix power spend money to develop an exhaust specific for the car, to give good gains and flow well... where as others just weld together some pipes to give the sound and look you want

anyhow i'm not here to argue about it , i'm happy with me zorst :D

because for once not only will the replica but cheaper but it'll also be better quality!! :D

i'd rather get a superior quality replica than the inferior quality original

must admit in this case i think so, bear in mind i'm answering totally honestly, in that i have booked my car in for a new exhaust at hayward and scott for over a month from now, it'll cost £500 but i do believe it will be a better product, if i really thought the departure was the best thats what i'd have got instead with out the hassle of driving to essex from oxford at 6am on a saturday morning etc
