As a rule

(though this may only work for Combe

& Goodwood these days), you should hold 4500rpm and measure 0.5m diagonally away from the exhaust tip.

Combe is 100db, Goodwood 98 driveby.

Donny for example operates a 98db driveby limit.

This is simply impossible to test for though.

I don't think any MR2s on the last Donny track day failed the noise test.

Different circuits operate different noise limits.

though i'd say to be safe ie so you can go on any circuit getting the noise under 95db static is the way to go.

My old SC ran at 88db

@4500rpm, so i could take it anywhere with no worries of failing noise tests.
