NGK plugs for 3SGTE are BKR6ES (Std) or BKR6E (V-power)

3SGE (NA) takes different plugs to the turbo, they're BCPR5ES-11 (standard) or BCPR5EY-11 (v-power). Strangely enough the same as the Mk1.

Your local auto factors or Halfrauds should be able to supply them.

Chris

Sorry I looked at the car description before the title, I thought the MK2 GT was the Turbo version, my bad!

Taken from my UK manual - Tickover, do you have a UK owners manual? If so, its in there near the back, if not get the ones above - they are defo the right ones and just replaced mine this week. All is tickity boo!!

Fair enough Leeroy :D , I was looking at NGKs site and that's what they had for the 3SGE. It was an earlier 3SGE so may have been the AFM version?

no worries mate, I did wonder whether a '92 would be different to '98 but the spec was for 3SGE - not specifying age/rev - so I would probably go with the ones I recommended. Grade 5 is also quite warm and may not perform so well at higher temps?

Hit this!!

Got mine from the same guy/gal. Its a US manual but covers the 3SGTE, which is very similar to ours, except of course for the turbo.

For £4.50 inc P&P, its a good buy.

Yeh, BKR6EYA - get them from your local auto factors, mine were about £11 for 4! The gap should be 0.8mm, and this is how they come so no mod needed.
