ahh i see it. i take it coolant will be lost, if so ive gotta replace the seal in that block anyway so 2 birds with one stone

think you might lose some yeh, not 100% sure tho, i did when we changed the temp sensor (the blue plug on the other side)....

Just fitted mine, Its the green one coming of the cast elbow, there's two that are close to each other (the other is blue i think) You want the top one.

No coolant is lost... well there wasnt on mine anyway, it's only a 2 second job. Dont forget to put the washer on aswell

just done mine, note to others. dont do it when car hot poor hands!

my old sensor fell apart as soon as i put a socket on it!!! litteraly! all burnt out and dead. now the car idles nicely at 900 revs. misfiring tho. proberbly another sensor or dodgy fuel. best £9 ive spent! :D

Hi,

Try dropping the battery off it for ten mins. An ECU reset might help with it being a new sensor. Worth a try for nowt

Your supposed to put the socket on the actual nut not on the plastic clip

How did you manage to get a socket on there On mine the plastic clip was stopping it so coul........ oh wait a min, you snapped your clip thats how you got a socket on right

Oh and top tip there luz.... Make sure the engine is cold

used a 19mil DEEP socket, disconected it and popped the socket on, it fell apart when i tried to unclip the connector
