hello all i dont no about you lot but i found getting insurance for my soon to be MR2 hard especialy to get it under th £1000 mark that was untill i found noel and dazely

i managed to get a qoute for £810 TPFT and £10085 fully comp i am 24 with 1 YNC

i decalared everything on the car the spec is ashown below

Try Sky insurance.

ND quoted me £935 FC.....Sky were £880 FC

Just google Sky insurance and they have a similar "Call you back thing"

use www.confused.com and try Direct Choice Insurance....I now pay £379 FC!! :D I'm 25 with 3years NCB.

im with direct choice 1600 tpft for a na, b@**ards hate them :(

and they marked it down as an accident when somone dropped somthing on my car going under a bridge :(

Mine is £900 FC on a modded Rev 3 tubby with admiral :D

Declared wheels, bodykit, suspension, filter, zorst, ECU.

Im just turning 21 n 4 years NCB

10k is a bit expensive for insurance ;)

I'm going to be around 500 i'm 25 with 7 years no claims and 3 points. Thats with elephant with everything declared on a rev2 tubby.

Become a premium member ..... then Phone Anne-therese on 01635 874 646 an mention that your a premium member to get 10% discount . Club insurace scheme worked cheepest for me \:D/ \:D/

how do you declare everything with elephant, your only aloud 6 monds i thought....
thats what they told me......

I only have 6 mods...

Alloys, exterior bodykit, interior decorative changes, exhaust, air filter, exterior decorative changes and uprated brakes.

I know in my garage i have wrote forgies and fast road cams but thats only what the previous owner told me. I have no proof.

Just got a new quote in from Elephant today. They quoted me 420 squids including protected no claims!! WTF?? :shock:

Think i'll be taking that hehe.

i got insurance from tesco on a 91 import, 910 fc. that was 2 years ago though.

All those quotes are cheap. Four years ago I tried to buy a mk1 but the insurance quotes I got ranged from £4500 to £15000....yes £15k for a car for sale at a grand. They must have thought I was going to ram a china shop or something.
