Can you identify this next to ignition swith---alarm ????or what
got red LED doesnt light up ??

looks like an after market immoboliser. The "key" would slot in, turning the LED out, so you can start the car. Otherwise when the LED is on, it means it is immobolised.

I had an immobiliser just like it.

You had to push the key in before the car would start, that would turn the LED off.

If the LED was on it was immobilised.
