Cheers man also uses a bit of engine spray paint but its made such a difference when ppl see a 14 year old car and you open the rear bonnet to a sparkly engine bay shows you can take care of a car! Also if i were to buy another mr2 and saw the owner had taken the time to clean the engine it would make me think has taken care of the car. :D

I think a few of us did this towards the end of last summer. Break caliper paint from halfrauds and a lot of masking, does the trick!

Loads of metal polish and paper towel. Autoglym or Autosol being the best ones.

It's xxxx boring, so I just do a little here and there. :D

What did you use to get the engine like this?

I want to clean mine but I used Alloy wheel cleaner and it looks streaky now :cry:

i used all the cleaning products but then didnt like my finish so i sanded all the metal down and sprayed it silver with high temp paint and wa la!!!
