Rory, as you probably know the ticket is valid.

They didnt need to measure it as it is classed at unnecessary noise.

And if it was in the morning then unsociable hours can come into play.

Also depends on your driving.

ie hacking it etc

(not saying you were btw).

As for their attitudes, no excuse.

And judging by their attitude, I'm guessing it was essex plod that pulled you.

Unfortunatly ive had a few dealings with the police over the last month and ive got to say even when I was arrested and locked up for 4 hours the other week

(after a false allegation which the other person was prosectuted for) the police were pleasant and polite.

These cops that pulled me were Essex police and they were complete twits.

The kind of cops that give all the others a bad name! Im going to make a complaint about the office in question about his rudeness and personal comments about me and my car.

BTW I was only crusing at 60mph on an empty dual carrageway to keep my temps down for the RR session!

Rory

that is crap.

first time i was ever pulled over i was treated like complete scum

(just happened to be that day i was wearing a hoody, lol).

.got an sp30 for speeding, however, police first comments were,

"right mate, looks like you wont be driving for a year or so",

"people like you make me sick, hope you cant get insured next year, cant wait to get rid of people like you from the roads".

after all that, sp30.

£60, 3 points.

the way they were talking you would think i had been doing 120mph and hit another car.
