Jap Show 2006 - Santa Pod, 25th June

The MR2 MK1 club is having a stand at the June Jap Show.

MR2’s have been represented by the OC and TOC on previous years, but the MK1’s finding them-selves out-numbered by the MK2’s and Roadsters, or split as to which club stand to go for. Well ponder no longer, as we now have our own stand to meet up in, park away from the public masses where you pride and joy will be admired, and be closer to the strip if you are thinking of getting a few runs in.
If the weather is good you can be sure of a BBQ and beer gathering! Bring a folding chair or picnic blanket to chill out on the drag-strip bank to watch the action. There are plenty of catering outlets there, and camping is also available for sat night (see Santa pod site). The Saturday will be RWYB, and mainly a ‘test’ day. There will be plenty of trade stands, show and shine competitions, and fierce Drag-Strip action. There are also Jet Car demos and drifting demos.

If you want to park on the club stand then you also need a club stand pass, so please contact me with your details and I will post them out free to MK1 club members.

The stand is already booked, and IMOC have asked for theirs next to us.

this means that we can all be together, and park the one and twos up together

The show is coming up soon, so if you want a car pass to park on the MK1 Club stand then put your name on the list.

Basically we've asked for a stand right next to IMOC so we can all be together - no segregation. both clubs IIRC have booked 20 passes.
