ANTI THEFT SYSTEM FOT MK2s

Hi! guys fitted my el glo dials and tried starting my car for some reason it went to acc then nothing! i then took the dome fuse out then it strated is there a speciall way to disarm the anti theft sytem or is there a fuse for it!

i have a similar problem - i would like to know how to dis-connect the entire anti theft system on the mk 2 gt also!

to get the car started, i took out the fuse from the under bonnet fuse box (front of car) - it is the farthest one on the left strip of the spade type fuses - ie: nearest bulk head. 10 amp iirc.
you can also bump the car as the immobiliser only stops the starter motor from functioning.

Ive sorted mine mate!
I took the dome fuse out
took the fuses out of my other alarm and immobiliser!
then i reconnected the battery
aswell as the dome fuse
then replaced the alarm fuses
then after it sounded i turned it off as normal
its jus the case that the system thinks the car is being stolen mate!
Mine works properly now

I now have the same problem!
Was going to get an alarm specialist to look at it. I tried doing what you did but for some reason its not letting me reset from the drivers door and the central locking on the drivers door is not locking!
ANy ideas before i part with my money?
Took Dome fuse out for ages put it back in and now starts! Very odd
