Do you see a spoiler on a standard MR2??? I certainly do! Have you ever weighed a Rev1/2 spoiler? It comes in at around 8kgs roughly + the 2 side panels. This is HEAVY...

As for you guys spluttering on about the elise not having a spoiler... how come the Exige does... which is the track equivilant of the Elise?!

To add : Also didn't you have a post up on BB about front spoilers and someone said they actually work on the MR2 as it gets "light" at speed?!

you would be correct! the 3sfe (119bhp) model didn't. but then that didn't come with fog lights, electric windows in some cases, the variable wiper stalk..........

No not all MR2s did come with spoilers... the one that didn't was the very basic spec model with 117bhp iirc

Not exactly a 2 seater sports car weighing over a tonne with 117bhp :S but hey if thats what you like then cool

As for getting annoyed with people, why don't you try and help them post properly rather than use it as an excuse... its not hard to press CTRL+C and CTRL+V in a new browser now is it!?

If you knew anything about Homologation Rules you would know why the WRX STi and also the Evo (before you post that ) have oversize spoilers on them.
