Well i spent £1300 on the engine getting that all tuned up and working, now its time for the body work so here's a few pics for you all.

Picture at the bottom is the same color as mine is going, its part of a 3 car team that will be touring the shows either together or seperate. Theres a 200sx s13 (already done)and a 200sx s14 in progress. + my mr2

Im not trying to copy anyone, the gold is a one off mixture with 5 different golds going into the mix, mainly pearls etc. I just seen the color and fell in love with it.

If its been done befor so be it, but this is my car, and that is his/500 of his/hers car's. main thing is, do they live near me ? likely hood is no, so its still not going to be seen as a copy of someone elses car. I for one havnt seen an MR2 in my neck of the woods with this color combo so its still going to be different to other Mr2's on the road.

LoL i just looked back through the pics, and i cant see any greddy lip. Im asuming you think the black one on the second pic ?

If so thats just a standard splitter, that you take off to put the greddy one on.

Haha, yeah sorry, but the 200sx is gorgeous, and thats part of our team, so in theory thats how mine will be turning out like, with black roof, and gold bottom.

I reckon so too - I really love the black over gold colour scheme (and Andy's car, too)

I always fancied going two tone after seeing the CGI pic below - even more so after I saw my first black over silver Mk2 pic:

That is looking gorgeous. Is there a different colour coat going over it though as it doesn't look the same shade of gold as the S13?

Im asuming he only took the pic when the paint was still wet ? so he's still yet to buffer it with compound and let dry etc ? I dont really know what goes into a spray job lol

I bought the wheels 3 days befor it went to the body shop. There 18" arospeed RSS gunmetal. so should look pretty dapper with the car.
