I have seen a stock one somewhere, don't ask me where though. I've just butchered an n/a lid instead, weighs half as much as the stock tubby one.

I'm just making moulds up at the moment for a full carbonfibre windshield.

This part should retail for around 500 pounds and will save 10-15 lbs off the stock part.

Light weight panels

Post by RaceDesign(NiteraMR2) »

Scoping for interest????

GRP T/tops even lighter than carbon ones, only 1.2kg per pair! inc custom locking mech. This means that the original heavy locking mech is replaced with a brand new ultra light setup built in. So there a direct swap for your originals and you dont have to locate, buy, and destroy another set of T/tops.

By the way, gob smacked to see these on here! did even know they were availible. :o Think youve got an original idea and then..... :(

Anyway i stated work on these a month ago and there a gnats willy from completion.

Trying to gauge how many kits to make up for stock befor i release them.

PM me for any further details

Cheers Mart

I understand ive been beaten to the idea of lightweight tops.
However these are far from being that same. The carbon ones are just the skin right?
These are in no way a copy or anything like it, but they do offer a lighter and much cheaper solution.
The carbons ones do look very good indeed but not everyone has got Carbon money.
Some people may only want lighter ones purley for the track or strip and some may want to colour code theres to match there car. Multiple solutions availible here.

Let me know if you want some carbon doors, got a set kicking around in the garage somewhere..... :^o  as if!
