Removing Scratches

Post by jasona »

How easy is it to get scratches etc touched up - can any garage do this, big costs ? and can it be done whilst waiting or do you have to lose your car for a few days.

The scratches I'm talking about are not massive or too deep I just don't want to leave em being vain :)

Try someone like chipsaway http://www.chipsaway.co.uk/repair/index.asp

Heard good things about them plus they are mobile.

When I get certain proper scuff swirls, I use some old Halfords scratch remover, some sort of cutting compound. Its not wax or nothing luxury but it does 85% of the job, then wax over with autoglym super resin polish  and colour magic

(Never buy T-cut wax) ...and im not meaning cutting compound
