It's snowing today and showing no sign of letting up. So today will be the first time to drive the MR2 in the snow Normally I nick the wifes FWD car with traction control but it's too late for that now!
I just feel jinxed that I'd wreck the car - because I just washed it yesterday

Lol !! I've never known of a car quite like a capri 1.6 !! RWD, front engined and still can't manage to spin its wheels !!!
Couldn't pull you outta bed let alone the skin off custard !
I'm sure with nitrous, its should at least blow the engine apart, might give it character !!

Re: First time in the snow
When we had that massive snowfall last year it took me over 4 hours to drive home in the Supe - none of the roads had been cleared or gritted - including the A1 ... normally it only takes about 45 minutes to get home.
I wouldn't take any chances. Even though you may take it steady there are plenty of thicko's who don't have a clue how to drive in the dry, never mind on ice and compacted snow.

Re: First time in the snow
Indeed - in fact the worst are 4x4 drivers, they think they have much more grip than they actually do and are more prone to plowing into other people who are taking it easy with 2wd!
But taking out an MR2 with LSD in the snow is a must!
I've got quite a steep driveway, and had so much fun last year when it was too icy to get up by normal driving! I accelerated up my road, turned in put my foot down bought the back end round and shot up my driveway!
Now that was fun.
