Yet another non MR2 listed in the 1/4's!

Post by Mikejc »

Richie S, Supra owner

Is it just me or do others think that the 1/4 mile section should only include those who own Mr2's? Given the fact that this indeed an MR2 owners club !

It's not the fault of people signing up - all they are doing is becoming part of the club and filling in their profile - the site *automatically* adds them to the 1/4 mile table if they fill that bit in.

There is no note to ask non-MR2 owners not to populate these fields so why get so stressed about the person adding their info? Surely you should be moaning at the web guru and asking them to implement a system that doesn't include non-MR2 entries or a filter so you can remove them?

Personally speaking I like to see the other figures (I would say that!) but it would be nice to be able to filter them if desired.

Well we now get to approve or reject times.

I will add to the list a option to filter out other cars.

I'm not directing my moan as you put it at the person/persons who choose to fill in the 1/4 section. I for one personally feel that as an MR2 owners club we should be displaying Mr2 times!

I too agree that the veiwing of other makes and models 1/4 times is of interest, but surely this deserves a site or at least a section all to itself!? If then I am curious as to the times of any given vehicle I will then visit the car in questions owners club.

Mike,

Fear not...this is easy enough to do. I will have a filter option in a day or so that allows you to see just MR2 times or all times.

Think Mike is just worried that there will be even more cars above him when he looses to Mark on the 19th hahaa :D

Sorry mate - couldn't resist

I'll go back to my little hole where I came from now with my underpowered NA tucked under my arm (I know my place :D )

Don't think it's going to be quick enough to beat your 12.1 JJ. Maybe as low as 12.2 if everything comes together but that's pushing my luck i think.
