Blimey dave, you still kicking about ??? Cars been great... had a bit of an intermittant fault on the wiring to the afm... found out about this fault 2 mins down the road after I bought it off you   It reared its ugly head every so often.... so couldn't pin point it for a while !

Easily resolved :D .... car has been superb otherwise \:D/ One of my friends has been badgering me to sell it to him and I'm letting it go to him in a months time or so :(

Hows the scooby ? :D

Couple of shots more of your old nail at a recent trackday

Looking good... :)

It looks like it's sitting a bit higher, did you raise it up a bit? Have you done any other mods?

Anyways, the scoob was going great although the clutch did eventually give up the ghost a couple of months later - no problems apart from that.

I sold it in December though as the insurance went up when I moved house...and I missed my old '2.

Sooo, I bought myself Enrico's '2 as I wanted a T-Bar this time. \:D/ I've had a few niggly problems so far but nothing serious except that the clutch master cylinder went last week. #-o

Here's a few pics as taken by Enrico...

Hey dave ! I left everything alone on the car... it was a superb example under the bonnet ... just tweeked the boost a little so it would keep up with the traffic. Facelift rear lights and leather / alcantara. ... the rest is fine... even still got that crazy stereo in !!

I did raise the rear... had too... I stuck 245's/45 on the 16" and with the offset of the rears.. they were catching a little. Lowered the front though even more... looks real good... get the balance even better :eye:

You bought brooks old car.. blimey.. that'll have been like losing a leg for him... wonder why I havent seen him on the board for a while.... good car.. loads of guts... and welcome back to the Mr2's !! :D The sensation cannot be matched for the price of them.

Might bump into you again some day chap ... I'll have my blue one though.. ! Take it easy !

Yeah,

He did look kinda wistful when he was selling it...I'm happy with it though! It does need a couple of things doing, nothing too drastic.

Glad you got back ok, there was that noise coming from the gearbox IIRC but it handled like a dream - better than the one I have now.

Cheers.
