if i fill up at home before setting off, bout 80miles there, will i have enough fuel for the day?
also, whats the best way to transport 2 tyres if i have a passenger?
will they fit in the boot stood up? strapped to engine lid? :-k

Theres a petrol station about 3-5 mins drive away so no problem there. As for wheels.... One can go in front boot instead of spare wheel, Get your passenger to hold the other :eye:

Local garages sell a decent range of overpriced junk but this is usually on site....

It's not too bad, coffee isn't all that nice and it's hotter than the sun for about 2 hours but the food is above average van stuff and not too expensive. If you can be bothered I'd bring your own and use the van if you still feel the need :)

Michael, its a top van! :D

Last time had an avocado and smoked bacon wrap, was excellent!

Might turn up and wait in the passenger queue (hope the queues aren't as long as Alton Towers)

directions are a bit iffy on the bookatrack site, anyone been before?
if you click on the link for the map the little red circle showing the location appears on one side of the B1228 but it says to look out for Halifax way which is on the other side of the B1228 :?

I'm not sure which way you were planning to go but if you do the M62 > M1 > A64 route just look for the air museum signs and follow those - if you can find the A1079 and then the B1228 (you come off the A64, onto a roundabout, 4th turning (I think) onto the A1079 for about 10 metres (get straight into the RH lane from the roundabout) and then you turn right down the B1228 (country road, some nasty corners if you don't know it) it's very hard to miss it.

Were you thinking of going cross country via Todmorden?
