Since when did the MR2 come standard with a drivers airbag? The reason I'm asking: I'm interested in buying an imported Rev3 Turbo GT-S which has a replacement steering wheel from Japan without an airbag. Can I put an OEM steering wheel with airbag back, if this car was originally equipped with one? Also interested in the TRD airbag steering wheel, but the same applies as for an OEM one I guess.

Revision 4 and 5 had airbags as standard i beleive.
Should be able to put a TRD one back on, as long as the wiring hasnt been destroyed taking the old one out
