Update on CF interior
ok... finally I managed to actually speak to the guy doing the moulds, and he's going to send me some pictures in the post this week that I can scan and upload here.
For all those people on the original thread. Sorry for the lack of input, we just haven't been able to get hold of the guy for about 3 months!

Re: Update on CF interior
well... it seems that not only does he have trouble with his ISP (no email comms) he also has trouble with the royal mail as I still haven't got the pictures.
This guy must be the unluckiest bloke in the world!! Either that or a really crap business man. I'll keep trying though.

Here is a bit of explenation from our guy...
And the pics...
Deleted because people just can't read
Any questions fire away and I'll do my best to answer them.

Please excuse the colour of the lower dash section, I'm still playing
with the moulding & that particular piece has a new " clear" jel coat.
Unfortunately the jel is a long way from clear. & in the picture appears
like a plastic coating. The effect is made worse by the fact that that
piece has not been polished. I couldn't see the point as I was far from
happy with the jel, so I'll go back to the previous formulation.
As you can see the gear surround is much brighter, and a far better
colour, as it uses a different resin formulation.

Re: Update on CF interior
Names will be re-visited when we can confirm fitment and quality etc.
Initial pricing was around 180-200!
However, I would take that as a very loose guide price. More details will come through... just hope they don't take the same amount of time as the pics did

Re: Update on CF interior
Good question, and its one that I wondered when I first heard of this. However he's confident that they're not a problem so any problem will be picked up in the trialing of the first set.
If you really want a specific answer as to how its 'actually done', I could see if he will tell me. My view on it is if it fits well, and holds together, it'll go into production. If not, then it won't.

Talk about digging up the past.
The products were b0ll0cks and have been removed from the car, and my webspace.
