Am looking to completely bypass the factory fitted amps and use my head unit to power my speakers as I have bought a new amp and sub as my original subs have blown. I want to still use all the other original speakers but am not sure how to rewire everything. Basically do I have to install new wires from each of the speakers directly to my headunit? IMO mate it would be well worth re wirin everything to your head unit as the cabling thats been in the car will be old and isnt of best quality. it will make your new stereo reach its potential. if your running new speaker setup off a amp it would make sense to run new cables anyway !!!hope it goes ok!
