TOTB V - Dates and initial details....

The latest news from the TOTB organisers....

confirmation that this years TOTB 5 event will be held on sunday
30th July 2006 at Elvington nr York. Team reps will be contacted in
feb 2006 regarding team allocations,rules/regs/points scoring etc
and entries will be taken from 1st March 2006, closing date 3rd
july. 120 top cars will be competing, across 3 seperate events.
Individuals may also apply to compete, again from 1st March. Info
and news via the www.totb.co.uk site as usual.

Also of interest is the Scoobyshootout event to be held on Sun 21st
May at Elvington, this event will have room for 20 invited top cars
alongside a maximum of 100 subaru entrants. The format of the event
will be new and based on a handling shootout along with 1/4m drag.
no top speed competition will be run on this event, its a handling
and sprint shootout only. Further news and updates on this event to
follow.

Both events will have numerous trade/sponsorship possibilities
again, drop us a line should you require further information.

Final news item on TOTB is that footage from previous events (TOTB2
and 3) will be appearing soon on the Men n Motors Channel, dates of
transmission will be posted when we have them.

As in previous years IMOC will be entering a team, if you think you've got what it takes and are serious about taking part then speak up asap

They have been in progress since the last event, they are constantly in progress.... as always I'm pushing for as many as I can get....

TOTB Tour – Arabia
Launches at Emirates Motorplex in United Arab Emirates.

January 20th 2006 will see the much awaited UK based modified and streetcar event ‘Ten of the Best' (TOTB) launch its official ‘Arabian Tour' at Emirates Motorplex in UAQ. TOTB is the only street and modified car competition that allows highly tuned and ordinary everyday cars to compete together in extreme conditions usually only associated with professional motor sport events. With an annual following in UK in excess of 10,000 spectators the TOTB event is THE crowd puller of the season with more press coverage than all other modified car events put together.

The TOTB Tour Arabia 06, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Marwan bin Rashid Al Mualla, kicks off a series of events around the world that will focus its attentions on all things fast and furious, with a whole day of modified mayhem from dusk till dawn. Live Radio broadcast and special guest appearances as well as DJs will make sure the crowds are entertained throughout.

If you like your cars powerful and want to drive real fast, this is the event of the year. Its up close and personal, and makes no apologies for being one of the most outrageous and challenging experiences you can witness, if you haven't seen a TOTB event before, prepare to be educated. All types of cars and drivers will compete together, from high performance extreme machines, to everyday vehicles. This event lets you turn up in your normal everyday car, its open to everyone car clubs and Tuners teams, along with local individual entries. Invited champion cars from past TOTB events in Europe will attend, throwing down the gauntlet to the fastest cars in the Middle East and from around the world.
