just getting everthing together like intercooler, cams ect. I like the sound and results of the TD range, quite cheap if imported direct!

just seems alot of hastle really for a td06 when the newer lines of gt turbo kits are coming out at only a few hundred pounds more.

Also you do realise its illigal to import items at a lower than true value? wouldn't want to see it get conficated after all the hard work gone into getting it sent over.

What are you revving to mate? If you have an EMS go for the 272s. If you are running stock ecu and have the stock redline go for 264s.

Even the 264s put in straight up will provide a damn good hp increase while not needing as much boost. Example in the states recently on a stock fuelled/ecu '91 turbo. Had a td06 kit, made 275rwhp with 14psi on stock cams. Put in the 264's with 11psi boost and 289rwhp :o

Aftermarket cams alter the duration the valves are open, open longer - more air intake / exhausted gas - more power :)

Cam wise i'll be going for the pipers as they seem the best available for the 3s engine.

If you want a set of these then MR2Mania is the place to get them.

yes the piper do offer a good profile over the HKS but there more exspensive.

You'll get a good power increase with either just depends how much you want to pay.

I was thinking of throwing a pair of cams in my NA to see what would happen, doesn't seem like too many people have played with them.

I wouldn't have thought they were easy to fit, the top of the engine would have to come of if it wasn't an engine out job?

If i could get them in for under £500 i would but that ain't gonna happen.

Go through Dino for the piper cams.

Not a lot of effort gone into the design of the HKS ones. Loads gone into the pipers.

I changed my mind over my HKS ones and got Piper ones as their replacement.

Easy to fit.. Remove cambelt, then the cams can be lifted out.

Because removing the cambelt is the easiest job in the world! We're not all as mechanically gifted as you Peter O:)
