Cheers - its already lowered a bit on super hard Jap aftermarket springs and dampers. This meant the front wheels rubbed and I needed to fit 5mm spacers to stop them rubbing! Any lower and I would have been in more trouble!

Yep - Rota Boosts. Did look at Slipstreams and the new D2 but got a great deal on the boosts and seeing as I missed out on Harry's Advans I went for the Boosts. Im happy with them.

look the dogs mate,how much did u pay,if you dont mind me askin?im in the process of searching for new wheels for my red rev 3 dont think the gold would suit red tho,was looking at bronze ones.did you have standard ones before,does it handle any better or worse?because of the nitemare of finding 16s unless i win the lottery,think il have to get 17s

TBH mate I got them for an excellent price through my work (Scoobyworld) as we are a Rota dealer but there so well priced even from a RRP point of view. I would have prefered bronze ones but only gold we available at the time.

I had 16" super lightweight forged Buddy Club wheel before this which I loved but they were tatty and too expensive to refurb and buy 4 new tyres for so went for the Rotas instead. I haven't noticed any ride or peformance differences between the 16's and 17's. Thoroughly recommend the chaps at Rarerims for the Rotas though.

No mate your spot on! Yeah I remember speaking to you. Hope your car is all sorted now. I must admit I was a little scared when you told me your probs seeing as I bought mine a week after you got yours. The rolling road result put my mind at rest a bit and apart from a few cosmetic niggles the car is great.

I have still got the Buddy Club wheels. They are sat in the warehouse at work. I must admit if I had the time and money to refurb them in gold or bronze I would as I really like them and they are so light. However I think I will try and sell them soon as the boss reckons they are in the way!!
