Basically the SC will operate to a given rpm then will be disengaged at the point the turbo has spooled up, so they won't run together so as to speak but obviously there is always overlap as the turbo builds up pressure.IIRC there is a valve that operates in the induction piping that gets around the problem of both blowers working against each other.
