I am 28, female and have owned over 15 cars during my 11 years of driving.

I have probably tried a model from most manufacturers and have never owned one for more than 6 months or so.

I decided I had to have an MR2 4 years ago and that it must be a UK car.

I wanted a T bar and it was ver difficult and time consuming to find a decent UK one.

I bought my car off of a pilot who had bought it for his girlfriend but she had left him and he insisted on having the car back

(of course).

He didn't want it for himself though

(too many bad memories) and wanted a Lotus Elise

.

.

.

It was a little tatty, broken fog lights, dirty, been standing a few weeks but I fell in love.

I would never, ever part with this car and it will be with me till the end.

It's a 1991 model and completely original, nothing has been modified in any way.

I have spent virtually nothing on it except for new fog lights, a radiator and tyres/brakes.

I still get excited when I see it and get upset if it gets damaged

(stone chips etc).

There are some things it could do with but I just don't feel the need to spend lots of money on it.

I've spent thousands on cars in the past trying to make them into the perfect car but my MR2 already is!

I'd like to get it re-sprayed, some new bigger wheels, new sound system and my aerial won't go down and makes lots of noise, other than that, it's fabulous.

MY CAR IS AN EXTENSION OF ME!!!
