Wow, looks in excellent condition for the year. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay? I find NVI are a little expensive compared to other places.

Think I might have paid a little over the odds but thought it was worth the extra considering the low mileage and condition. Test-drove a few turbos while I was looking and non felt quite as tight as this one (phnarr!)
Exact price between Tom and me I'm afraid! You get what you pay for(as they say!) Didn't really fancy the ebay bargain/melon route!
Nice motor btw, ditto for yours Leeroy, almost purchased a silver over black myself

Very impressive, judging by the pics it has to be one of the most mint MR2's I've seen.

We like! Does look a minter. As for price, I have no hesitation in paying slightly over the odds for something if I know it's the right thing.
I've heard nothing but good things about NVI and as you say, the mileage, condition etc warrants paying a l'il bit more than others available.

Actually getting the hang of driving it now too! Similar... but very different to the old NA (if that makes any sense

It's got some kind of HKS dump valve on it that is aggressive to say the least. When coming off throttle it feels like a beef jerky... and that's a good thing 
Will post a pic of the valve in mechanical as I would like to know what it is but can't find a pic of a similar one anywhere.
Now to book that track day
