[Mk2 NA] Replacement aerial

Post by philw »

When I bought my '2 it came with a rather naff-looking aerial. A previous owner must have broken the standard electric one.

Does anyone know where I could source a standard motorised one and whether they're fairly straightforward to fit?

It's a Mk2 Rev3 so it'll be the boot-mounted one I'm after.

Thanks,
Phil

Mr T - quite expensive though. Mate of mine got one from Maplin for a fraction of the price.

Hi Phil,

Are you going to be more careful with this car? Very nice in Caribbean blue.

For the aerial you could keep an eye open on ebay.

Alternatively try Dewsbury Autosalvage 01924 437743. I believe they have a couple of REV3 and later that they're breaking.

or

NSEC 01702 230268. These usually have an\some MR2 in various states of breaking.

HTH
