I love the roof scoop, and even better I love his explanation of it

"On the roof is an air scoop, not only does it look good it actually works (it directs air down on to the engine cover which has vents in it !) Keeping the engine cool"

Well for 500 quid it cant be a bad buy!

That'd actually *hinder* the cooling anyway! Airflow in an MR2 engine bay exits via the top engine lid vents - having air blowing DOWN will work against the airflow! Thus actually 'stalling' the airflow and making the engine bay hotter!

"The car has got a sun-roof but does not open due to the roof air-scoop."
Pure class.

Wherever you take this car "people stare"
Can't think why...

"The air-scoop has little flashing neons in it which flash different colours"
<Samuel L Jackson> MMMmmm MMM, now that's a tasty scoop! </Samuel L Jackson>

"It has a free-flo air system on the engine intake which makes it sound like a turbo whistling."
Sold!

That is one horrid MR2.

An utter disgrace. The thread should be titled "How to destroy an MR2".

He's totally wrecked the car with crappy bolt-on and stick-on rubbish, and even the interior looks like a two year old has had a go at the design.

"Show winnning car" - oh yeah - what bloody show?
Mk2 NA Rev1 -*- Mk2 Turbo Rev2 -*- Mk1 NA -*- Mk2 Turbo Rev 3 = all gone!
