posts not showing as read
you know how when theres a new post it has the coloured symbol next to the theard and it goes white when you view the post? well, not doing that anymore - staying coloured until i log out and sign in again?

Yeah...known problem that was appeared yesterday. I am working to get it fixed ASAP.

No not yet...it is actually i pretty big job to complete this...I will do my best to get it done this week.

i guess this is proving a little more difficult to sort out than you first thought as its still happening

unread posts dont go away now when you sign out and come back later - they still there taunting you :twisted:

That is it working as designed. You have not read them so they stay unread...no matter wether you log out and back in. This was a request from the members. I think it works very well.

A global 'Mark All Posts Read' button would be handy, though.. (Unless there is one that I can't find ;))

Just a thought - another forum I frequent has a 'list new threads since last visit' button

That is what we used to have..I was asked to change it as you could lose that data on log out and back in. The new way you never miss a new post.

Plus there is a mark all topic read in each forum index. That marks all topics in just that forum read.
