Top speed of NA?

I'm not a fast straight liner - I cant say i've found my top speed but it did get to 125 pretty easy the one time i got a little carried away..............I'd agree upto 140 top speed would be about right.

After 2 bike crashes i can say i really dont enjoy going more than +/- 85mph. (crashing really hurts...and the memories keeps me speed down!)

Having said that the MR2 really does go round the bendy stuff quickly!
cant wait to find out how fast it really goes. you can only find out on a track roads just arnt for full speed 10/10 driving.

My true top speed with BEAMS 3sge VVTi is 250 kmh (156mph). Also checked with rpm and tire diameter.

I got mine up to 135 (around 6krpm's)no probs but didnt want to push it any further, that of course was also on a long private road. Only done it once when I 1st got the car, I now stick to 80-90 tops and super para regarding the police plus as someone else posted,hitting bumps and dead animals at these speeds could really ruin your day!

Seen 140 on the clock on a private road, was showing 6500rpm so there was still a little to go. So probably as lauren says true real top speed 137 ish.

I couldnt see my car getting past 125, not unless i was on a runway.

Whatever your clock shows, deduct 10% for a more realistic figure unless you're using a GPS device. The speedo is merely an indicator and becomes grossly inaccurate over 100mph.

I've had a reading of 140 on the speedo (private road honest officer ) so probably 125-130ish true speed.
