JVC CD Changer

Post by stuyw »

Hi,

Ive got a JVC CD Changer which came with the turbo, but cant seem to get it to work.

Ive got standard toyota unit with built in CD player, but the JVC one will not play CD's. it reads them, but wont play.

Am thinking that the CD's i am using wont read because the changer will only read jap ones? i dont know :-k

Any ideas out there guys??

Cheers

Does it read as playing them on headunit but no sound - phonos could be damaged? have you checked connections on both ends?

might be worth a try!

Dont think there is any difference between english and jap cds

the remote control i got with it, says disc 1 track 1 on the LCD screen, but nothing comes up on the toyota headunit to say that there is a CD in there.

I'll have another check too see if there is something not plugged in :)

Also the factory headunit keeps rejecting CD's too, is that another problem?
