Black mk2 in Stourbridge...updated

Saw a black one at the lights at 9:45pm- Revision unknown .....thing is the only lights it had on was these BIG ROUND YELLOW fogs. Im sorry but if its anyone on here and i doubt it is to be honest, then WTF were you doing ? .....it was dark you didnt have your lights on (first offence)....then you had your fogs on and it wasnt foggy (second offence) and to top it off the fogs were yellow, these are not road legal in this country. So unless your going for the french look i suggest you get a renault 19. The car looked cool enough with whatever kit you had on the car so are they ashamed of the pop up lights or summat....there better than them big yellow cheese balls they had on.

yellow fogs came in on jap imports and i dont think they are that bright! ive seen an mr2 near me with yellow fogs on and they dont dazzle they jus illuminate the road more but i dont think they are that bright mine had 55wtt bulbs in which were similar to a dipped beam!

These were massive round ones...deffinately didnt come as standard. Mines an import and didnt come yellow fogs Plus these were the only lights the car had on...thinking they were the nuts. This is an MR2 i would deffinately love to pull over.

I'll try an contact him next time i see him an try to get him to the Coventry meet on the 6th of Feb.

Ok then mate if they are after market spotlights then i can agree with you but mine weren't dazzinling mine being the standard mr2 fitment spotlights of course! fair enough though i can see ur point!

its a darkish blue, got a toms intake scoop an a loudish exhaust. Its very low. Its drove past my house twice an i've seen it in Oldswinford once, all in the last week. Mentioned it to my son at uni' an he thinks he knows who it is....hes going to find out an let me know.....i'll up date you when i hear of him....

Ahh ive seen it at texaco garage in old swinford about 5 months ago, when i saw it i wished i had gone and got some fuel just so i could have said hello ! its got a rev 5 spoiler on i think.

Mike, been intouch with the owner, hes going to come on the 6th if hes free but seems up for it so you can see it then. He went to school with my son so hes only 18................see you on the 6th.

No i didn't know who it was till i told my son an he said he thought he new who it was an phone'd him. he came around yesterday. Hes on his 6th car an may be selling it as insurance ect is killing him. think he said hes got 2 clios aswell an can't keep them all. its a n/a 2 been chipped ect an he said the guy he brought it off has receipts for about £20000.white an blue leather inside, flash sound system ect but needs a bit of work.... cracks on the body kit where it fits but i still would have it.

I saw this MR2 a few weeks back near Lye. The owner (asian bloke) pulled over and I had a good look at the car, very nice indeed. We were both chatting for a while. He reckons it's running about 370bhp with nitrous. He said he can get hold of the same style bodykit in fibreglass for about £550. I love the front bumper on it.

Seems like there are quite a few MR2's around this area. I must've seen some of you.
