Live in Darlington, work in Stockton (nights), occasionally see the odd MR2 ploughing through the morning traffic. Often see a nice black unit going along the Riverside (Stockton) on a morning, also a nice red 2 on Carmel Road (Darlington). Mind you with the onset of winter the sightings are getting few and far between. Come on people Drive them don't lock them away.

If you're buzzing along there at approx 8am on a morning then probably yes, Will keep an eye out for you in future, I drive a red 'T' bar import Mk2 tubby (K43 - - -).

I live in Catterick but me and/or the missus can usually be seen in Darlo at the weekends. I spend most of my driving time flogging the ar$e off mine up and down the A1 every day to and from work. Mine is my everyday car and I'm certainly racking up the miles.

If there's a local meet kicking off, I'd be up for it. I'm just a noob with a standard '2 but it would be nice to share a couple of hours with some local enthuiasts. No-one I know knows owt about them.

So if you see a really mucky black rev 3 then it's probably me. Man, the roads sure are dirty at the moment. Me and my chamois are fighting a losing battle.

I know the feeling mate, one run out and 2 hours washing down, but its worth it. Me and the other half often visit Richmond and Catterrick on Mondays, so I'll keep a weather eye open for you.

Anyone reading this who hasn't been to a NE meet drop Graeme Simpson an email (on here as http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/profile.ph ... ofile&u=10). Although the meets do get posted on here you'll get an extra reminder from him as Graeme normally sends an email out to the regulars just before the meet.

Have you considered fitting Rev 3 lights on the back? Prices vary wildley of course. eBay usually has a few. If you need a new centre panel then I think you can use the centre panels from Rogue Systems with Rev 3 lights and it might be cheaper (the same centre panel from the LED kit). Of course it doesn't come ready for reverse lights.

Btw, what colour is your car? Looks like a kinda non-standard candy red. Nice. I need a respray sometime. Thinking maybe Nissan Skyline 'Midnight Purple'.

I have considered rev 3 lights but if i had them I would tint the indicators red to match the rest I need reverse lights as people never let me out anywhere because they can't see I want to reverse

No my paint it standard toyota super red 2 3J6 think its just the light.
I wouldn't mind a respray sometime either

i'm in newton aycliffe but work in darlington, drive a black turbo, seen a few 2's around. does anybody know of decent garages in the area that know the mr2 well enoght to do decent work on it. i don't have any jobs to do now but it's always handy to have a few numbers just incase. may need my wheel alignment/camber setting up properly.
