What a fantastic day!

Was excellent meeting so many new people & faces!

My girlfriend, Jo, ran her Golf TDI on the rollers and got 170bhp and 298ftlbs of torque!

indeed mate, i'm glad everyone had left when we ran it though, you wouldnt believe how much smoke it kicked out, literally couldnt see 5 feet in front of you in the garage!

It's been chipped yes from 130bhp to 170, not bad for £500 wish it was that easy with the MR2!!

lol jo gets 60mpg out of it but i only manage about 30 at the most when i drive it! :lol:

i asume its WELL modded then, cause there basically my figures, lol, (altho im only running 0.8-0.9bar, 258fly, 264toque)...... :shock:

Well, it is about as far as you can go on standard internals Jim.
From what I remember there is a T28 roller bearing turbo, fse, metal head gasket, mildly ported & polished head, battery moved to boot to allow more air to the K&N air filter, and a Pulsar intercooler. Boost is raised from the standard 11.5psi to about 14.5 psi. With a forged bottom end this setup is good for a fair bit more as well. I wouldsay up to about 65 or 70 my old MR2 turbo was a fair bit quicker, but after this the Rover comes on very strong & I would say is quicker than a tubby.
