Just got a quote from Adrian Flux.

Last year(Tesco), 3yr NCB, fully comp, good area, £1250.

This year, 4yr NCB, fully comp, same place, £800!!!! :D
And the guy said they're happy with mods :D

Hmmm, now, what to spend the monkey on! 8)

how old are you?

Flux covered me with 1 yr ncb for £1300 covering all mods and trackday cover. Said with 2 yrs ncb it would near enough halve.

I'm 22, so pretty happy with the quote. Nearly half what I paid on my first year of driving, and that was a 1.1l 205!

The NCB does seem to make a difference. Although as I'm under 25 I get an extra £250 excess. No fuss to me.

thats not bad at all, I was getting worried that they were fibbing that it would get alot cheaper (assuming you were over 25).

Great quote!

Im 24, max NCD and payed about £800 on my '98 NA. I'm with Endsleigh who give excellent service - had a prang in my old car few years ago and they did a great job - nice n easy win :D They also gave me 40% loyalty discount as I've been with them for fookin ages!

Does anyone know what Flux is like when accidents are involved - hate to mention the word but I think its an important thing to consider...?

Really Pleased for ya,... It does amaze me how different the quotes can range.. I'm 23 I live about 45 minutes away from where you live and my quotes in December was £1400 before any mods... I have 6 years no claims bonus and no claims or convictions....

In the end I am paying just over a £1000 with all mod's listed...with Lancaster insurance.. (was £800 without any mods)..

I have just renewed my insurance with Adrian Flux and I am paying £576.00 fully comp with all my Mods.

They originally quoted £806.00 but managed to get it cheaper by ringing around getting a few cheaper quotes and then getting Adrian Flux to see if they can match it or better it.

hi Ya mate,

Been well busy at work so not been online much.. I live in a little village just outside Stansted...

Funnily enough the first Mr2 I looked at was in harpendon 3 years ago. One of my mates has also got a cousin that lives there... proper fit she is as well... lol.. Been there a couple of time to see her...

Don't think i'll make the 19th you see I play football on saturdays and get fined if I don't turn up... savage.. Would really like to do one soon though. I'm really close to North Weald and they do 1/4 miles down there in the summer so will probably give it a go there...

Did you sort your wheels out mate after your little accident..?
