Yes I did read your post fella;
You have a GT4 ct20b with steel internals I assume- I bought one like this for 250 quid a year ago
You have JE pistons, these can be bought new for around 250 quid
So theres 500 quids worth of parts.But now you have forgies, which yes

- obviously tho the main consideration would be the condition of the body work, interior, suspension etc as well

yes the engine has been rebuilt, and potentially can make more power than standard but it still has the early rev1 suspension geometry, and with the exception of the engine, the car has had 80k miles and 15 years worth of use.![]()
modified cars are never worth the money you spend on them and in the alst 2 years the bottom has completly dropped out of the mr2 market.if you struggled to sell you rev3 a couple of years ago, and rev3's are what people really want, that gives you some idea of what a rev1 is now worth.

i think if you got 3k for your car you'd be doing well.5k? in your dreams i'm afraid.

.uprated not standard.
If you can get JE pistons for 250 quid, then show me where you get them from??The cheapest I've seen is 335.
And for the record..
