Post by LeeHoochie »

Has anyone fitter an mk2 intercooler onto their SC, are there any benefits of doing so and is it easy?

The beards will explain better, but basically, as they are different sizes, the engine lid will not seal correctly to the IC and thus may have detrimental affects?

basically, yes thats it. Its important to get a good seal with teh engine lid to ensure airflow through the intercooler so MK2 tubby one won't fit in the stock SC position.

I did see the one on ebay, however im getting mine from goto10 as im doing a swap for an n/a mk1 gear box. out of interest the one on ebay was painted black which seems a silly choice in colour as its trying to cool air.
