Greetings, i've had my '2 for 8 years and covered nearly over 80,000 miles. And i still love it.
It's had quite a few things done to it over that time that's kept my interest....

Had a 1600 NA imported from Japan in 98 after i blew the original while being slightly over enthusiastic whilst driving ..a short while after having it tuned with the following bits.

Uprated drilled/grooved brake discs all round
Tokiko 5 way shocks.
Hks super powerflow system (V.LOUD)
Superchips ICON (pretty ***p!)
Hks cams installed and 'head' work done
It was rolling road tuned resulting in 142Bhp@7000 - at the wheels, not flywheel.
The work was carried out by Race-Spec in warrington, a company i can whole heartedly reccomend to anyone wanting to take their engine tuning that little bit further. The engine runs extremely well on this configuration with more power at the wheels (112@4000rpm) than my orginall did at full power (109@6600) and a slight raise in torque (112 vs 107 originally).

I had the 'new' engine tuned with the same parts .It's quick and really pulls for the redline once tvis kicks in. Not only that but it's been just as reliable - recently after nearly a year left standing all it needed was a 'rotor arm' to be replaced and it's back to business as normal.
I've just put some cheap (re. scrapyard scavanged) OZ alloys on it - look nice and give it a bit of extra bite/grip.
It also has lightweight bodywork courtesy of arches riddled with holes from rust!..my next project once i find some panels.
