MR2 MK1 Club ‘Streetracers’ RR Day

Sunday 20th November. Need to start 9:30am (£25 per run)

I now have repiles from both JTuner and Retro Cars Magazines (for the MK1's esp), and are both intertested in covering this event, so JTuner will be there to take photos (now confirmed!) and I will send a report to Retro Cars.

M1 J22, services just off the m’way roundabout – leaving 9am
Hobby Horse Pub, just of A46, syston – leaving 9:20am

*Running Orders*

You will be given a number upon arrival, to ensure smooth running. It is you responsibility to have you car ready. We aim to get thu’ a car every 15 mins, but this may be optimistic, but help us to be as quick as poss, then we can get to the pub quicker!

Pub / Food

After the runs we aim to get a late lunch at a local pub – hopefully the Hobby Horse (having some work done at moment so can’t book yet)

Refreshments are pretty limited at the venue – hopefully will have tea and coffee facilities set up, and I will bring some biscuits or such-like, but if you easily get peckish you can bring something, or Maccies and Asda are only just down the road.

hi everyone,just to let you know,my turbo died last week and although i should be getting the car back for next weekend with new turbo fitted i dont think its good idea to put it on the rollers ,il still be there in the car but obviously theres a space for anyone who wants it,but il leave that to jo to decide what happens,anyway see you at j22 next week!

Can't wait to see the convoy of MR2s from the Hobby Horse, but let's hope we don't get split up by the traffic lights on the ASDA roundabout!
